Living water is flowing in the Kenyan village of Timale after MAF flew a team that worked on a well, a church and healthcare for the isolated community.
The group of 12 from Foundations for Hope (F4H) worked alongside 48 members of Kenya’s Agape Fellowship Center to complete the construction of a new church building and a well to provide clean drinking water. Before the well was constructed the nearest water source was miles away from the village but was contaminated and unsafe for consumption.
Foundations for Hope is an organisation that exists to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing critical resources and training in partnership with local churches in areas of need across the globe.
Matt Mullinax, the Co-Founder of Foundations for Hope, said MAF played an important part in making the trip a success. It would have taken seven hours to travel between the Kenyan capital Nairobi and the nearest airstrip at Kitale, near the Ugandan border, but the one hour-20-minute flight allowed the team to arrive refreshed and ready to get to work.

A four-day medical clinic was also set up in the community to provide medical care to the people while the evangelists shared the good news of Jesus Christ. 1,258 people received medical care while 243 received salvation. People walked as far as ten miles one way to access medical care.
The evangelism teams visited homes throughout the week and crusades were held all through the afternoon at the church site. The new church building construction was completed and dedicated to the community. A church service was held with the members of the community praising the Lord for the great work.
